I used the directions given by others previously posted. Useful as the path isn't visible of Google Streetview. In the field there were ewes and new-born lambs, plus two torn to shreds lamb bodies and a dead rabbit. Probably some wayward dog. The sheep looked upset and were circuling around me.

Accessed from the footpath in Bishop's Tashbrook. Pillar is in middle of sheepfield, reasonable views. On my way to the pillar, I discovered (almost fell over!) what appears to be a surface block (see photo), at SP 30677 60894 - about 30yds from the pillar itself. It's not in the database, so perhaps the next visitor who knows more about these things than I do could check it out.

nearby surface block (?) Tripped over this on the way to the pillar. Is it a surface block? It\'s not in the database.

There are good views to the north of the tower of St. Mary's, Warwick.

This is in the middle of a field of sheep behind Tachbrook Farm. I approached via Tachbrook Farm itself past the Visitors by Appointment only sign. I enquired at the very large farmhouse and sought permission but was told it was not their land. Maybe approaching via the footpath to the north would be a better option.
