Didn't go past the gate to the west on the B3046 as the aerial images on Google maps show that the water tower has been demolished and hence the bolt has been destroyed.

TP13993 From Google Maps. The water tower has been demolished.

More usually known as Nutley Water Tower, this is an impressive but derelict concrete tower. No public access, but ignored the sign and no-one around to challenge. Unfortunately access to top not possible without a ladder to reach the fixed ladder. Might not be around for much longer as Viscount Lymington (Earl of Portsmouth's son) applied for planning permission in 2012 to demolish and build a house. Could not find any info on year of construction, but OS computed in 1953 and again 1987 after re-fixing the bolt.
