Bagged with my 2 year old boy on a claggy day. No views due to weather but usually great views from here. Parked on “The Casey” road and hopped over dry stone wall that has crumbled slightly giving easy access to the trig.

Easy find from roadside. The Trig is in a field next to the radio mast. Climbed over the gate in the field with the mast and then climbed over the stone wall into the field with the Trig. 2nd of 5 planned Trigs to bag whilst completing a 14 mile run with Running Nana.

Easy enough to bag just off the side of the road over a stone wall, some bricks removed so not too difficult to get over. Trig in great condition with all its metal work

Bagged Black Heath trig with Alex then walked along the road to bag Ipstones Edge which is now part of a nature reserve with the reservoir looking redundant.

Nice post box/benchmark combination on the junction of the B5053 to the northwest. Trig has decent views but on the whole is a quite uninspiring roadsider.

Parked on verge at entrance to the mast place. Clambered over stone wall into boggy field to walk the sort distance to the pillar. Some reasonable views, but too cold to enjoy them.

A joint visit with Carole. Virtually a roadsid one. We parked on the lane to the north and entered the field over the wall corner near the communications mast. Pillar in good condition and still retains an original plug. Nothing really to commend the location.

1/20 The first trig to start a day of bagging. it is next to a wall and not far from the road but ther is no footpath to it. There is also a big mast next to it and it makes a lot of noise when it is very windy like it was today. There are very nice views all around and a lot other pillars can be seen if you know where you are looking.

Just off the road. In good shape, metalwork intact. Hope I did not scramble the number :-) I did scramble myself here taking a aheavy fall against a barbed wire fence and wrecking a fleece. Also during the day my mobile went AWOL. possibly here, but I could not find it when I returned during the afternoon.
