Parked in gateway to south of hill fort, climbed over delicate stile by gate and up the hill. A stile allows access into the fort itself and the pillar is towards the north end of the summit. Nice cap with shallow letters, FB faces SW; SW & NW sightholes open, others plugged. Extensive views of surrounding countryside, including NE towards Blacklaw Wind Farm which I was to visit later in the day!
