No flag was flying at the mast today. There is a cut mark on the SW angle of the tower. My walking group's lunch stop today was the nearby Duke William pub, one of the four pubs that are "goals" for the annual Haxey Hood, but not the winning pub in 2016. Outside the churchyard is the mounting block where the Hood Fool makes his speech.
