The Church of St Lawrence stands on slightly higher ground on the edge of the village of Bigbury in South Devon. The church yard was entered from the minor road to the east. The churchyard is surrounded by fields, a farm, and the adjacent road. The Grade II* listed building dates from the 14th century but was largely rebuilt by the Victorians. Inside are a couple of medieval brasses but unfortunately I did not have any large pieces of paper or wax crayons on me this evening.
