Horrible roads to get to, worse track to the mast! Trig is sat just on the corner of the fence. Drove up the track & pulled in just before the gate, can drive right up to trig if you wanted to.

Drove to bottom of the track then a steep walk up 10mins just past mast and trig sits outside the fenced area. Spider, FB good as is trig but cap missing.

2/3 on a loop from Black Hill car park. Following on from Craswall. Walked across Three Rivers Ride. Slight issue with a farmer locking a gate on a diamond path, but easy walk through adjacent woods and climb over field gate. Pillar sat outside the transmitter station on a raised mound. Nice views along the valley. Trig is in good condition with the spider and FB intact.

Was a bit too late in the evening to fully appreciate the views from this pillar. The large mast definitely detracts from the experience.

You can drive all the way to this one, so we did. Up the dead end road avoiding some big holes and through 1 gate all the way to the masts. One other car was there and it appears we disturbed a courting couple enjoying themselves on the bonnet of their car!!!! They soon disappeared quite sharpish. All good in the hood here.

Re-visit, Great location. 13 years since last here, where does time go ? !!. Good weather and the dogs had a good run :) Great views all around. Ignore the mast and its a great place. Parking by gate ok, but as Rhayader Wanderer says its easier to drive up to mast and turn.

SatNav wanted to take me cross-country to get to this one - ignored it and used the roads! Friendly farmer opened gate for us whilst he was also driving to top of hill - we opened it for him on way down. Pillar in good condition, but v. close to unsightly (are any of them not?) comms compound; 1 sight hole open; cap missing, no plug. Another trig with outstanding views W to Blk Mts.

Vagar Hill. Visited this after a fantastic circular Black Mountain hike from Twmpa to Capel y Ffinn. Drove up the track,parked at gate & walked the remainder. Very overcast but amazing views east across Hfds. Trig is 2m short of the summit.

Drive to this? You should earn a few and cycle! Straight up from valley to admire view. Left by following bridleway to North after regaining breath.

Good Condition, plug missing. Right next to road and fenced off mast area. At end of lane, very muddy to-day. No views to-day very misty.

Teach me to add extra trigs on a planned route. Parked at the gate 350m N of the top as it looked a good turn round. The better one is 350m on as you lean out the car window to touch the trig :-( no view as the cloud closes in the surrounding fells. Nice finish for a loop of the Golden Valley area trigs

Easily accessed, at the end of a track leading to a BT radio mast that really put the mockers on the eastward views! However, it's just outside the fence, so no problems. The plug is missing; the east face viewhole is open, the rest closed. There is a lot of white paint still visible. There are lovely views westwards over the Black Mountains but the mast ruins the east views. Stopped to chat with a farmer who was looking after one of his cows in the adjacent field with its 2-day old calf.

Plug swiped, otherwise good, ending a run of pristine plugs. A drive up next to a mast complex. Pillar mercifully outwith the fence. Area prone to raves.

Cycled cross country from south. Incredibly hot (well over 90 degrees) and no view at all due to heat haze.
