Very handy that this pillar is so close to Catton Park and the Bloodstock Festival. Favourite bands which I saw that Sunday were Monument, Fozzy, At the Gates, Nightwish (of course) and Watain. Just about my most awesomely enjoyed fest ever.

3/3. Final trig for the day having walked across from Grove Fm. not much in the way of PROW connectivity unfortunately so ending up using the minor roads on part of the route. whilst walking up the agricultural track SE of the pillar dozens of partridge got up. Pillar located just off the track where the field access point was roped off. Pillar retains a little white paint and reddish colour to the top surface. All metal intact. Views to the South.
