1" bolt, couple of inches down in the grassed area E side of the monument .Used thejackrustles diagram, but would qualify the measurements as 13.7m and 11.6m. Also, 0.8m N of a line produced from the S side railings.

I'd searched for this many times on my own with no luck, today I bought re-inforcements, in the form of Mr TJR and both TBTs. Even then it took far too long to find it. Diagram enclosed.

Followed the directions from Singlespeed. The early summer vegetation still made this a wee challenge. Worth doing especially for the view. With CJ.

Armed with a compass and 16m long piece of string. A false alarm for a small stone gave way to finding the block with metal domed rivet sticking out the top. It still needs a wash off.

Lady Hill block Needs a proper clean up.

The difference between the coordinates of this and the monument is 0.016 minutes East. Looking at the scales on the local map, 1min is almost 1Km. So I make this ~16m from the centre of the monument on a bearing of 90 degrees, which is where the dogs were. Need a longer proding stick

Searched the grassed area for this position but could not find any trace of a block - could it be buried?

Dogs on grassed area The dogs are standing on the GPS position for this block but no trace of it was found. Did find a tennis ball though!
