Parked by the golf centre then down the footpath to the trig. Overgrown with nettles and no views at all. Guess the trees weren't here in the 1930s, and splendid views of the Sheaf valley existed.

Parked on Bradway Road by the Golf Centre entrance. Followed the public path round 2 sides of the driving range. Found the trig nestled by some trees with some nettles. No visible view - makes you wonder what the view was when installed.

5th and final trig of today. This one was nice after the previous Northern Common shenanigans. Stinging Nettles all around the pillar so I used my stick to do some weeding. No views from here but a good location for a trig that will hopefully aid in it's preservation. Headed through the golf course and back to the train station. A lovely day of hiking and bagging.

Good condition with a nice white coat, but surrounded by trees mean there’s no view over Sheffield to be had, although there are glimpses from surrounding streets.

(1529) Parked up near to the shops on Twentywell Lane, and walked back to steps that marks the start of the PRoW. Nice walk through the woods, and though everything is becoming overgrown, various well worn paths makes it easy going. Pillar still has a good deal of it's white paint left (now with added graffiti) which was a big help in finally locating it, as it is surrounded by nettles to nearly it's height. All good, though the plug is missing and filled in. Pillar history: Built on the 25th of June 1947, at a cost of £5 10s 9d. Last maintained by the OS in June of 1985.

I utilised the Sainsbury's Local car park nearby. It allows 30 minutes parking for customers, so we bought drinks and there is just enough time for a trig visit. There is a gate from the car park which takes you onto the dog walking area, or you can follow a public footpath around the driving range clockwise. The pillar is just off a PROW by a few yards and is in lovely condition although graffiti has begun to senselessly reappear. Well done to the team for clearing the area and looking after the trig. Decent views of the peak district from a nearby bench. That's me done for 2017 folks, here's to another great bagging year in 2018 I hope.

She did ask me what the Pennine's were Melissa looks to the future. And Burbage Moor, Houndkirk Hill, Ox Stone above plantation.

Walked in using the PROW near Golf Club. stroll through the park to the vicinity of trig, We spent 15 mins looking for the pillar but unable to locate. Having challenged a chap walking his dog, he pointed into the undergrowth where he thought it was. Another 15 mins of beating down nettles and brambles etc. and we were on it. Plug removed and filled. Nothing in the way of views

Not the most attractive trig point I've ever seen but on the plus side there's no access problems as its in a park. Came up via the footpath then wend down the slope and through the wooded area failing to find the geocache there.

Walking from Bamford to Dore & Totley Station then caught train back. Trig point clearly visible at this time of year but by muddy path. Approached from enclosed path near southern end of Twentywell Lane then across open recreational area. Easy access.

Parked at Beauchief Abbey then walked along Beauchief Drive to Bradway Road. Turned right along Bradway Rd taking footpath around the driving range to the trig. Hedge has been cut back so that the trig is easily accessed. In good condition apart from a small amount of graffiti. I will never understand why people feel the need to do this - if it's not your property then leave it alone !! No views due to location. Walked back down Twentywell Lane and Ladies Spring Wood where I discovered a herd of deer in the grounds of Beauchief Hall.

Parked near footpath sign which runs around the outside of the golf range. Trig is situated at the far end of the golf range. Amusingly there are golf balls wedged in the fence it self. Must of been a good shot.

Easy access but not immediately visible due profusion of high nettles [ouch!]. Followed enclosed path round from Lower Bradway but as always found a much easier way back to Bradway. Poor location, surrounded and no views to speak of. Pillar has been despoiled by some graffiti artist. Concrete plug.
