1.5” bolt in concrete, about 18” down in a 1’x1’ depression. Agent Mancuso was right. Freezing cold low temp and high wind, took a while for my hands to warm up after scraping mud and stone out of hole, also found a rusty fizzy drink can in hole. Approx 1.5 m north of fence line. At the highest spot. Left a small cairn adjacent, the spoil from the excavations. Good view down Loch Doon. comment: march 2021. i do wonder if there is a concrete ring here, i only dug the central bolt out as had very limited tooling in sub zero winds gloves actually froze......so next visitor bring digging kit!

Couldn't find it 21st Jul 2015  16:53  by agentmancuso

Came from Enoch Hill via some intervening 5Ds & a great deal of stormfell that had me crawling on hands & knees in the mud through tunnels of fallen trees. In pouring rain, of course. Might be a nice summit, though hard to tell in the fog. Anyway, no immediate sign of BB, though I strongly suspect it's in the hole visible in the immediate centre foreground of the picture. I did excavate a few layers of stones by hand, but it could be a fair way down.
