What views! Could clearly see the new Forth Bridge to the west, well into Fife to the north, and a hundred billion wind turbines in every other direction...the TP appears to be defended by a moat, with a large stone acting as a drawbridge. Otherwise the pillar itself is in good condition.

Parked on at the end of the marked track on the minor road to the north east. Glorious late February weather meant frozen ground and gave views of the Cheviot / Ochill's and the Angus Hills as well as the Forth. Despite the sea of turbines over the Lammermuir's a great spot.

Pillar in good condition although the base is becoming undermined as the cattle seem to use it for a scratching post & the ground is trampled around the pillar so is under water most of the time

Bransly Hill A bleak & cold day up here today but worth it for the amazing snow views over the Lammermuirs.
