Parked on grass at start of track, north of trig. then followed curving track up east, south, then west towards the trig point. Where the track shown on the o.s map turns west it now continues south towards Canaglaze. Look out for the track west which is a grassy track not gravel.

Good parking to NW at bend in road. Weaved in, out and around the gorse to summit. Pillar has lost a little top screed at one corner; centre cap missing, no plug; all sight holes open. Nice panoramic views.

Out wandering over Bray and I saw the Trig Point. Was hoping to see a height but, alas, not one listed. (This is probably the first time I have walked over moorland without an OS map!)

Long gradual uphill slog from source of the R. Fowey (had to climb fence). Extremely gorsy on the northern side of hill.

Parked at the bottom of the track and followed it up and beyond to the top. Great views over the high moor on a sunny day.

Straight up from minor road to the north - would have been better to seek out the track marked on the 1:25 map. Unfortunately I didn't have that map ......

Walking the Copper Trail using buses but quite a long day. Park at Five Lanes and followed trail to Minions then down to Upton Cross to catch bus to Launceston then an afternoon bus from Launceston to Camelford to walk back to the car at Five Lanes before nightfall. Made the short diversion to Bray Down en route.

Saved the best (3rd) trig of the day for last. Great views if you can avoid looking at the clutter of windmills. Didn't bother to count but there must have been at least 50 visable.

Parked near the ford - take it slowly if you drive through it. Pleasant stroll up, but wet underfoot in places (not just the lower slopes). Bolt visible through the sighting holes, and looking down the centre.

An excellent viewpoint this one. Dartmoor visible in the distance to the east, and to the north, Lundy could be seen out to sea. Very close to getting top marks.

Mixed weather here, (passing showers) but got good views over to Brown Willy and Rough Tor, which we were doing later. Trig has missing plug, it seems a lot in cornwall do. Approached along ridge from south, starting at Jamaica inn

Parked by the ford - avoiding the open grave - and cut straight up through the gorse and rocks to the summit. Trig is in good condition, plug missing and open - great views and superb March weather.

Brilliant views up here. The plug is missing, and it looks as if the top has been restored with a cement(?) at one point. One of the holes at the bottom is filled in. Otherwise, the pillar seems in good condition. No pictures today as I hadn't planned to come here and hence had not brought a camera.

Parked by the Ford at Bowithick. Walk through the gate, and it’s an easy walk up to the trigpoint. Was a misty, bad photo day, will have to revisit when the weather is better.

straightforward access from the N,follow track from parking spot then head W /NW till you reach pillar .Cattle around and my dislike saw me sneaking around out of sight then legging it .Good views ,pillar in good condition.
