Parked in the pub car park and walked up the hill. Was working in the area so took a small diversion to try to bag a trig point, but unfortunately no OS Map with me. Thought I was destined not to find it when like a miracle a farmer came along. When I said I was looking for the T/P, he asked if I was from the Ordnance Survey; mind you I was in a suit!! Said he thought the trig point was in the field somewhere but unable to see it. He said when he was a child, he used to stand on it and admire the views. I kept looking and when tiptoed from about 30 yards away, could just make out the top of it, almost entirely obscured by crops at the moment. Didn't risk the barbed wire in a suit but farmer seemed happy for people to tackle the barbed wire if they really wanted to bag a T/P, which was nice.

Visited this one with Deego. We parked in the pub carpark and followed a not too well defined footpath across the playing field from a kissing gate that certainly doesn’t cater for anyone humping a ruck. We then went through the hedge and up the hill currently home to a herd of inquisitive cows. The trig point is in very good condition with all its metal work in place. The view is green and pleasant in all directions.
