Parked by the old Pub and walked across the PROW - thistles and nettles in abundance in July if in shorts! Pillar stands out in what seemed to be a recent coat of white. Liked the little plinth for the base - kept in traditional style. Nice touch. Trig obviously seriously attacked previously for its metal work but stood its ground. Amazingly it stills retains its plug. Excellent views on a glorious sunny afternoon. Lovely Spot.

Good views from the trig, a really pleasant day. The hill up out of Hebden Bridge is a bit of a killer on a bike! Further to Josho's post, it was not me that grafittied "BEN" on the trig, just to clarify.

Latest of a number of visits. A fantastic place, I love it, great rock formations. Don't just park up by the nearby road, come up from Toddy (Todmorden) or Hebden Bridge and enjoy Calderdale & it's moors & views. Unfortunately the trig's had it's head bashed a bit.

Consequatively numbered trigs within 20 munites of each other (after Robin Cross Hill). Late autumn evening, warm golden sun, the valleys already in shadow, a handful of folk getting some bouldering in after work before the clocks change - great place to be. The damage to the trig seems to be long-standing as it predates the last painting.
