Tricky one to photograph without standing in the middle of the busy A911. Managed to get a reasonable shot from across the road, a picture that also includes the architectural delight of the adjacent public lavvies! Further to wrose's comment below, either the clock is no longer working or it's simply telling the wrong time...

Impressive church spire with working clock. Appears to be in a good condition. Church remains in use - wedding underway when I visited.

A Category B listed building, constructed 1876-9 as the Leslie Free Church. After 3 name/denomination changes it is currently the Church of St Paul and St Mary, Mother of God. A 4-stage tower supports the broached spire.

Gothic church with 120-ft spire by R Thornton Shiells 1879. Originally Leslie Free Church, it was opened as Roman Catholic in 1959. Devastated by fire in 2004, the church has been restored by the efforts of the congregation, the architect for the restoration being Gray, Marshall & Associates. During the restoration, more light was brought in by opening up the 5-light window behind the altar with windows by Lorraine Lamond.
