OS records this trig destroyed August 1978. The site is one of the largest defence munitions sites in Western Europe although has been reduced in size since 2013. Took a walk over the Gaitle High and Low Bridges to a low security gate, where I decided to proceed no further given the bolt is reported destroyed.
