Lunch was on the table when I knocked on Flosh farmhouse door; sadly I wasn't invited - but I was given permission to visit the pillar.

Good condition pillar at field boundary on a high plinth. FB faces west-ish with east-ish and west-ish sightholes open. Pillar blocked internally however. Excellent views south. Cap present with sunken lettering. Asked for access at Flosh farm to the south. Farmer and son very chatty (although still baffled why anyone wants to visit the pillar). Three gunshot marks on one side.

Visited with the kind permission of the farmer who pointed me in the best way to reach the pillar. Nothing really to add other than to confirm that it is still there and in the condition previously described.

Walked through the farm at Flosh. Nobody around, except for a sheep-dog chained up in the yard who gave me a friendly welcome. The pillar has three indentations on its north side, but otherwise in good condition, with cap in place.
