Really nice area to walk through at this time of year (April), bluebells everywhere! Not so many next to the trig pillar though.

Our Final Surrey Trig We thought we'd visited all of the worthwhile Surrey Trigs but then spotted this one right on the Surrey/Sussex border. Visited on a round trip from the Fox Inn at Buck's Green

Parked at start of footpath on Baynards road. Walked south on footpath turning onto the Sussex Border Path. The trig point is a short distance off this path into woodland which is private.

After visiting The Haven, walked north using footpaths as much as possible, through Bucks Green, then left onto a bridle path just after Canfields Farm. Path heads west then bears north to join the Sussex Border Path. Good views to the south from here. Head east towards woods. Enter woods and turn left follow one of the tracks to the pillar which is hidden in the trees. No views from this point but a rewarding find.

Pillar in good condition located approximately 30 m north of the Sussex Border Path. I parked to the north and walked to the pillar on the footpaths.

Path into forest and to trig at TQ078344 - currently opposite a "Private" sign reared against a tree

In glade in mixed deciduous wood just N of foot path. Several 'Private' signs posted on trees but no fences to cross. Painted white, encroaching moss. No views. Light rain from dull grey skies.

Parked the car just off the road near to footpath. A lovely walk up to the trig though bluebell covered woods. Activated the trig for Worked All Britain net (amateur radio).

Onwards from Waterland Farm back to Rudgwick. Extra mark for stunning carpet of bluebells. Trig in woodland, but vg views of both N and S Downs from Sussex Border Path where it leaves the wood 50 yds to W. SE s/hole open, otherwise vgc, metal cap, indented letters

I parked in the gateway to the north and followed the 'Link' path until level with the pillar. A reasonably good path then heads through the trees directly to the pillar. It is in good condition and still retains an indented lettered plug. No views but lovely woodland.

The easiest way to find this, is to come up the footpath from Cox Green Road railway bridge. Before you get to the Sussex Border Path, there is a way marker post, with vertical writing. Imediately after this, there is a track leading in to the woods on the right. This will take you right to the trig.

This was is a little closer to home than previous trigs. I thought I knew where it was as map said it was in a field. Fortunately out with Shamus therefore used GPS. Average condition and nice woodland.

This was not exactly were we (Shakey and I) thought it would be.On the OS it looked like a field, on the ground it looked like a wood! Found it using GPS, pillar is in good condition but views were not so good.

The whole of this woodland seems to be access land. Pillar is in a brackeny bit but a path leads right to it. Plug with heavily indented lettering.

Located in fairly dense woodland, close to the Downs Link Bridleway. Pillar is in good condition, and has been painted at some time in the past. No views due to the density of the woods. Parked on road next to bridge over Downs Link, then followed GPS up into woods - no sign of any Private signs mentioned in Alan Grove's comments.

Located in woodland close to the Surrey/West Sussex boarder. Footpaths run close by, but the actual woodland has a number of 'private' signs about. However, nobody bothered me during my visit.
