Log 51. Not as easy as I had predicted though. Once finally free from the clutches of the Thorpe Park development I followed the path leading east. My OS map tricked me into thinking this must be in the middle of the field on the left, and I went all the way to the bridge over the M1 before a check back revealed the trig. So tracking back I found a path leading along the top of some newish looking trees with a hedge on the right. Fearing a barbed wire traverse I was pleased to find the trig buried in the hedge but on the good side of the barbed wire. Stuck my head into the hedge for the trig bag. Plug is missing but pillar is in good condition. Best views were ironically from the bridge over the M1 as I turned back. Not as good a view as Garforth Cliff, but I did spot Pontefract's own suicide flats (or the cruiseliner as we know it).
