Bolt on GPS say it is under the cairn. Have the OS declared this as destroyed or just trig baggers. Because if it IS under the cairn then itís not destroyed.
Cairn Bolt supposedly underneath

OS record the Bolt as 'Mark Buried - dest 08/76'. Was the cairn built over it, thus burying it?

Fine walk and path parking at farm near school think bolt is under the cairn great views here both to the lakes and out to sea, cliffs closed to climbers as peregrine falcons are nesting here.

Could not find the bolt. Nevertheless, had a lovely walk on a beautiful day with excellent views. First visited top 26 June 2013, unaware at the time there was supposedly a bolt in the vicinity.

On a social amble around the hill, glorious warm day. Didn't realise there was a bolt there, so didn't look for it!
Lords Seat I'll accept what Father Ted says, that the bolt may reside under this 2.5m high cairn...

I'll call it destroyed as that's what the database seems to indicate. My GPS was pointing to under the large commemorative cairn. It may still be under there or destroyed in the making of the caine I guess. Nice views from up here.

Parked in a lane just off the road outside Witherslack Hall (parking allowed) well marked path if you use the waypoint crossing the furthest goal area on football pitch, summit marked with a large memorial cairn to Canon Hervey
