En route on the A9 North so drove to Kinbeachie turn off where i parked. Cross the road through a gate and between a field of potatoes and barley. Trig easily located with good views over Cromarty Firth

Parked just within the field and strolled the 50 yards or so over a recently harvested field, now of corn stalks, to reach the pillar which retains its cap with raised lettering. Sight-holes buried. Enjoyed the field setting and the view across Cromarty Firth.

Log #7. I parked in at Kinbeachie, and walked across the road and into the field, taking care not to disturb the crop. Trig is easy to find, in good condition, and has a geocache at the base. [ExP-7/MiP-0/BM-0]

The 2nd trig in our Black Isle trig bagging mini-tour en-route from Tongue to Aviemore. Located on a field boundary 80m in from the road so access straight forward.

Parked on SW verge of side road at NH626624. Followed mapped field boundaries to trig. On SW side of boundary fence between two arable fields. Tertiary station pillar in good condition, completed 18th November 1954 costing £23.4s.0d. Spider has OS centre cap with raised small letters. Flush bracket faces 42° (NE) into fence. Vented through SE sight hole. 147° panorama from WSW clockwise though to NE.

Easy to access from the road via the boundary as stated, but Fasgadh's barley field has now become a potato one. Pic to follow.

Easily spotted while driving nearby then a quick 2 min walk to get there but watch out for the tatties or barley or whatever might be growing
