Parked as Nick & Roise at the car park for the plantation, NT4974139347. Followed the forestry tracks on the map, to the burn which was in spate. The wall can easily be negotiated, followed this up to the small quarry along the marked track and then onto the trig. A lot of cows gathered around the trig but managed to heard them out of the way after a bit of a stand off.

Parked in the car park on the minor road between Buckholm and Langshaw, just down the track to the Ladhope Plantation. Very considerate! Followed the forestry tracks through the plantation to a line of power cables (telephone cables even??) and followed a path out of the woods then back up to a large stile and followed the wall to an old quarry then on to the TP. Pleasant walk, goods views.

Walked straight up the hill from the car park just off High Buckholmside....a wee killer of a hill! Rather odd that the trig wasn't quite at the top of the hill. Went on to visit the Langlee Mains trig from there, via Ladhopemuir.

Easy ascent from Hetherysett Cemetery to the south on a remarkably mild November afternoon. Fabulous views across many miles of the Borders countryside - save this one for a nice afternoon - you will be missing so much if you do it on a wet miserable day!

Walked up from cemetery. After doing trig, walked round higher paths to take in Langlee Mains trig as well. Saved loosing too much height. With CJ.

Cattle country. Rough grazing and inhabited by all sorts of swampdwellers such as curlews, snipe, plovers and on the dry bits, hares, lots of hares. Good condition save for one chip and intact . Good views of Galasheils,Eildons Cheviot and Moorfoots. Walked in from the north past a strange cairn (Dobie's Grave) and big herd of very laid back well behaved cows and the swamp.
