OS records this destroyed August 1950, long before this newish looking residential estate was built. Looks like it was replaced by the nearby Kinterbury pillar, computed June 1950, but that one didn't last long either, and wasn't replaced.

Parking area in front of newish houses. OS trig archive says: Dest 08/50. Apparently replaced by S5995 - Kinterbury (subsequently also destroyed in 1956).

My GPS pointed me to the middle of a new cul-de-sac, Kiln Close, off Old Farm Road. The pillar is long gone.

As for Kinterbury, I concur with 'Hollowing''s assessment. Strange that there were 2 pillars so close together.

Housing estate in Plymouth. No pillar, my guess is that it was removed when this bit of the estate was built.
