Block installed 1987, probably as a replacement for the Brayton Barff West pillar (Dest 08/86 - OSBM36). A satellite view shows the grid reference towards the SW corner of the reservoir. Did a circuit of the perimeter. Site defended with single, double, sometimes triple fencing with the odd gap in the outer sections. But the innermost fence was fully intact. Vehicles on site but didn't think that the workers would take kindly to a request from me to dig holes in the top of their reservoir. Bright, chilly day with a brief snow shower. Views limited by woodland.

Here for the tump summit. Block seems to be within a secure water reservoir compound, took a walk round the upgraded security fencing but no obvious access point, although no probing/digging tools with me anyway.

(866) Made use of the little car park inside the woods, though this was begining to fill up, and followed the various paths to the general location. Did this for TP1603 as well. Trig inaccessible, but a nice walk. Quite a popular woods, it would seem, with plenty of folks out today.

no sensible access. Walked all round the reservoir complex and reached the natural high point (at least to my satisfaction). this is not listed as a TUMP what am i missing? Since been confirmed as TuMP
