(423) Reported destroyed in the late 50s. A quick drive by visit today, really. Just managed to stop on the bridge long enough to get a couple of photos.

Computed 01/06/1959 (OS). Located approx 8 metres W and 20 metres S of Ashby Decoy (TP17642) which was destroyed 04/59. So Burringham likely to have been a replacement. But Burringham was itself short-lived, recorded by OS as destroyed 11/59. Both blocks located on the old line of the B1450. M181 motorway not opened until 1978 (wiki) so not certain that the motorway construction was responsible for the blocks demise. Rivet found on NW corner of bridge parapet but nothing to suggest that its an OS mark.
