Was driving passed this one with CherryBubb whilst heading to the Chapman Rock trig at near Hartland. Parked in the lay-by opposite the entrance to the water tower. The gate to the field was open due to the fact the farmers had cut the field. Ran across the field to the far hedge and spotted the trig on what looked like a stone wall with hegde on top. Trig is in the hedge itselft coveered in vegetation and because 4 tractor & trailers had already driven by (1 as I was half way across the open field) I didn't hang about too long. Took a selfie on me at the Trig as proof of visit. Trig has definitly suffered due to the hedge cutter.

Quick stop off en route home from Bude. Easy access across very wet field, and even managed to find my way through the hedge to climb plinth from N side. Rolling flattish N Cornwall / Devon views, and the adjacent water tower adds interest. Metal cap, deep letters, top has lost its fight with a hedge cutter, all s/holes under ivy / vegetation, otherwise all OK.

Very well buried in a thick hedge and the top covered in thick ivy. On a substantial hedgebank because the flush bracket is at chest height, even if you do have to dig into the hedge to find it.

Fortunately, I spotted this one from the gate so I did not repeat Lathama's mistake. I had quite a struggle to haul myself on top of the bank to view the damage to the top. This seems worse than a year ago so I have altered the condition.

I thought this one would be in the water-tower compound, so climbed a couple of fences to access this. Wrong again! This meant another dodgy climb through the brambles to access the correct field, full of sheep. Damage to top corners. Original plug with slightly-indented letters. Sightholes below vegetation level. No paint. Inland agricultural views.

In the hedge line just off the road to the left of the water tower. There's a layby opposite and a gate giving access into the field. Plug with heavily indented lettering.
