Apart from the info board at the entrance to the site you would be hard pressed to find any evidence of a colliery here at all. The site has been levelled, grassed over and is now an informal recreation area for the surrounding housing estates Reasonable views from the top of the hill. West Cannock #3 colliery closed as far back as 1949 so its a bit surprising the tip lasted until 1964.
