Sounds like I took a very similar route to dugswell2 parking at Glasserton Church. Then used track passed Home Farm to access pasture and easy route to summit via gate at N54 43.032' W4 28.620', then through gap in wall at N54 42.917' W4 28.752' past ruin at N54 42.743' W4 28.795' and also spotted the spring before the trigpoint, all on what looked like quad tracks.
