Parked at lay-by opp the Bunch of Carrots pub. Joined the Wye Valley Walk from here heading W, then split from it by walking along an elevated embankment known as The Stank. This is a flood defence & presumably the block lies on or very near to it. Continued W until I rejoined the WVW, which I then followed E, thereby making a good circular walk. Nice views of the Wye, which was fast flowing. Sunny but cold with plenty of frost lasting all day in shaded spots. Lots of walkers & fishermen about.
