Found the remains of all 4 tower footings. Each footing constructed from approx 5 foot square concrete with domed concrete around each wooden post. Footings about 5 meters apart. Located just off the track in woods. Didn't look for "Bolt" but may visit again to see if I can find it. Looking at the size of the trees I reckon it was dismantled about 60 years ago. Have given 7 because of it's location.

Came up to bag the TuMP so thought I would visit this location too as I was here. Couldn't see a bolt.

OS records the trig destroyed April 1977. All 4 of the concrete footings for the tower's legs are extant. And on one of them is a benchmark rivet.... or is it the bolt? Unlikely I think as it is listed in the OS Benchmark dBase with no reference to it being a trig.
