From the disused chapel in Garnfadryn, where parking is aplenty. Good path all the way up. Shabby looking pillar on large concrete plinth; 3 of the top edges have weather-worn chips missing; cap missing, no plug; central tube stuffed with rubbish; all sight holes open and stuffed with rubbish. Graffiti on all sides and remnants of a slightly bizarre tri-tone paint job. What made up for all of this was the wonderful views of the whole of the Lleyn Peninsula, both coasts and Bardsey visible.

Parked in the lay-by adjacent to the chapel. Walked up hill to the Common Access land via a tarmaced lane then incredibly muddy & slippy track to the path. Turn R and follow to summit. Pillar still yellow, perhaps Garth Fenton needs to come here with his white paint pot. Improving views to the west and northwest allowed Hell's Mouth, Rhiw and the north coast of the Lleyn to be seen. Total clag to the east and southeast.

After visiting Garn Pwllheli trig pillar I got a bus to Edern and then walked up here. Bilberries were in season and there were plenty next to the path for me to pick along my way. The views both ways along the Lleyn Peninsula were outstanding and I could even just about see the top of Mynydd Enlli on Bardsey Island, which I was very lucky to get to the following day. The imminent rain thankfully held off for me until I made it to Pwllheli.

Included in a circular walk but there is plenty of parking west of the redundant chapel at SH278345. Visibility excellent with Ireland clearly visible. Could pick out Howth Head and Bray Head as well at the Wicklow Mountains, The Isle of Man was also visible on the horizon just beyond the Aluminium Works at Holyhead and The Skerries Lighthouse. The Welsh coast visible to Strumble Head and possibly Carn Llidi by St David's. Views don't get much better than this.
