Parked a few hundred yards past the entrance to Myrtle Farm in a wide area near a metal gate. Walked through gate and into huge quarry. Went up path to the right and then followed it round to the left until reached the trig, which is set just off the footpath. Nice views and the field next to it had three sweet little ponies and a llama in it.

We approached this one from Carn Marth Lane where it is possible to park, and walked up past the old mine building. It was misty on the summit so there were no views but the flooded quarry on the summit is interesting. The area is used by horse riders, mountain bikers, dog walkers and motorbike scramblers and was quite busy when we were there on a cold December afternoon. Plug missing.
