2 inch bolt in block, verge 1.6m SE of road , 2m SW of centre of hole in hedge, 2 inches down, left open. Apart from churches, the only trig found all day!

GR is on the verge on the opposite of the road to the fingerpost. Verge undermined by rabbit warrens. Nothing hard found worth digging for. The highlight of this station was the white van containing a very enthusiastic spaniel who knew he was off for a walk. The walk turned out to be - jump out of van and run down a very minor road being followed by van. Never knew a spaniel could run that fast!
