About 100 metres from T junction on the south side of the road. Not obvious as hidden in the hedge. Went into field to find but it was the back, FB on road, (north) side of pillar. Scramble through the brambles to get photograph of FB. Good views from nearby.

Wide roadside verge at the pillar. Pillar is becoming subsumed into the hedgerow, access better from the field side, although easier to photograph the FB from the road side. Spider not photographed; front sight hole open, others not checked. Views not noted. Was always marked as 'good' to Aug 2014 when it was changed to 'slightly damaged' with no explanation, and there's been none since then in any log, so have changed it back to 'good'.

(153) On the road out of Fulletby, and down the turning which leads you to Tetford. Just passed a clump of trees on the right hand side of the road. And boy, the grass verge, and indeed the hedge was both very overgrown. Nettles galore! Couldn't really view the top, which I'm guessing is where the damage is located?? Pillar history: Built on the 26th of April 1950, at a cost of £10 19s 8d. Last maintained by the OS in February of 1981.

Although there was a Geocache here it hadn't been found for a while as the pillar was well overgrown. I got quite close before I saw it in the hedge!

Joint visit with Carole. Being a roadside pillar on a quiet lane access is very easy. Has suferred some slight damage in the past otherwise everything in good order.

Well hidden in hedge. Luckily I checked location on google street level mapping otherwise I might not have found it. Re-visit 25/08/21. Well embedded in hedge. Best viewed from field side. Attempts to photograph flush bracket failed as it faces into hedge.

This was our 2nd visit to this after failing to find before in a downpour, this time we had a good search around and found it nestling in the hedge,it seems to have been damaged by a hedge flail the last time the hedge was cut back, the damage on top of the pillar on the field side is consistant with this.

After a pleasant day out with my walking partners, the Woldtimers, I revisited to get a grid reference. There was too much growth around the pillar to note the FB again, or to check the reported slight damage but assumed the case.

What a difference the time of year makes to finding hedge-bound TPs! I couldn't find it in the summer (29/5/04), but the bare hawthorn hedge at this time of year revealed it.
