Visited .. apparently this water tower has been redundant for some years.

Two water towers on site. Taller concrete one has no flag staff. Shorter brick tower much more attractive - looks like a pepper pot.

There is a really nice brick built tower with a vane on top. By comparison there is a really ugly concrete tower next to it which I would think is where the flagstaff would be if it was still to be seen.

Impressive towers,both now dis-used but are grade II listed buildings. No flagstaff visible & finding out about the history of the towers,none of the photos I found on-line showed a flagstaff nor did any description of the towers mentioned a flagstaff. The redbrick tower was built in the late 19th century & the concrete tower was built in the 1930's
