Trig nor tump summit attained as location covered by dense chest high yellow rape. Would apparently be easy without crop from adjacent RoW. However I note from others that we should have looked in the field corner for the relocated trig instead!

Looks like it's gone. Walked up Cauldnam Lane into wide open, empty, freshly sown farmers field and walked 150m or so due west, GPS mapping says I'm on top of it. No sign. It should have been seen from miles off, but it simply is not there. I could see 200m in every direction from the exact GPS. Just a large rock left. I guess the farmer has destroyed it. Just checked, trig clearly visible on Google earth right where I was stood. It's gone. :( Sad for me to be first to announce a trig's removal. Walked south to find an existing trig at Dover Hill less than a mile away.

Walked up from Folkestone. Managed to access trig ok as crop was at seedling stage and easily avoided. Decent views mainly of open farmland. Very hazy along coast though

Considered bagging this on way back from Samphire Hoe. Easily visible in a crop field from adjacent bridleway. Decided not to trample across crops so will have to save this one for another day - it was getting dark so I didn't bother hunting around in the hope of any tractor marks leading to the trig.

A return visit -- after crops had been harvested and soil prepared for re-sowing. As I was walking back to the bridle path a farmer drove his tractor and roller into the field, my presence on his land warranted merely a 1/2 second glance from him.
