Parked at South Zeal,encountered every weather possible except snow. Great walk,as we approached pillar the mist came down to take our view away. Did get a few teaser's of what the view is like. But well worth the trek.

Parked at South Zeal and walked 2 miles or so up to this one - great evening walk up, pillar good condition if a tad erroded - amazing Dartmoor views

Visited at end of Dartmoor walk from Belstone taking in Belstone Tor, Oke Tor, Okement Hill, Cranmere Pool, Cut Hill, Quintins Man, Hangingstone Hill. All that effort and only one trig point !

2nd day of walking weekend on Dartmoor with the Imperial College Fellwanderers. Ascended the hill, soon entering the cloud on the way up, no views from the top, unfortunately.

On chambered cairn on summit, vgc, trig base slightly undermined but stable. No cap or plug. From ENE, Nine Stones, b/w then easy slopes. Thick mist early morning, no view.

Retrospective log for a walk up to this trig that I remember being well worth the effort but a challenge with 3 small QBs one of who was not even a year old.

FB S side, all sighting holes open. Plug missing and full of rubbish. Spotted the upper centre mark when looking down one of the sighting holes. Can't comment on the view as it was misty.
