OS records show the block was destroyed September 1961. Quarry now closed and for sale with planning permission. Parked at entrance and walked up onto high ground to N, to closest point where block had been located. Extensive views S over the quarry - sheer drop to quarry floor a definite hazard! Some odd hutted encampments in the woods but no-one around today. Access into quarry reasonably easy, had a look round in there before leaving.
