Parking and route as per caroleengel. Unfortunately, the stiles have fallen into disrepair. Fine view from trig. Cap still in place.

Walked to the trig from the NT caravan site in the valley. Unfortunately very windy an squally rain at the Trig so no views to speak of. Trig in good nick.

On the Explorer Map there is a footpath through the forestry from Llandre to the Trigpoint, but this has disappeared with recent logging. The best route is the farm track running north parallel to the Cothi to a point SSE of the TP, then follow the track/path from there. As a previous visitor notes, the farmer at Llandre is very helpful and his sheep bridge is on the Explorer but is north of the path shown on the map.

The view from the path looking East After a stiff path, the TP is over a fence with a very high stile.

Walked in from farm at Llandre to the E. Permissive path through farm, spoke to friendly farmer who directed me towards bridge....which is 200m to the N of where it is shown on my Explorer. Then straight up through the woods on track, skirt W edge of woods to pillar. Rain stopped at last..typical Bank Holiday weather!. Pillar in good condition in sheep pasture.
