1/2, Bus to Defynnog then lanes and tracks to open hillside. Cropped on top with bracken bailed for bedding. Whole sweep of Brecon Beacons national park on show, from the Black Mountain in the west, across the Fans and high Beacons to the Blacks and Hay Bluff in the east. Even the Abergavenny Sugar Loaf sticking up in the line of the Usk valley.

Parked at straight of RoW to South. Short sunrise walk past the little lake. Frosty, gorgeous skies, frozen lake. Cloud to all the peaks though but could zoom to all the folk on Pen y Fan as it was blowing over. Great trig for number 240

Easy out-and-back to the trig from parking area to the south. Up the easy to follow RoW to tarn, then summit. Nice views of the surrounding bigger mountains.

Fabulous view of the beacons from the TrigPoint. Footpath leading to TrigPoint was somewhat difficult to walk due to heavy ground cover.

Absolutely stunning location. Parked in Defynnog and walked up PROW onto the common. Stands on a ridge with mountain views all around, overlooking a small lake. Trig in good condition with spider, plug and FB intact!

Found a space to park on the narrow lane to the north, just west of Dan y Cefn. Easy walk up through the dead braken. Misty views today.

Parked on A4215 to the south, followed path upwards to the trig about 2 km away. Lovely scenery on the way up and plenty of wildflowers. Wonderful 360 degree views of the different mountain ranges. There's a small lake just south of the trig point too. Didn't see anyone else.

Great spot and nobody about. Super 360 views on top of a spot surrounded by ferns, lovely tranquil find. Trig in good condition. Flush bracket/Spider and cap all in place.

Parked to the S of the trig at the beginning of the bridleway at the junction of A4215 and a minor road. Pleasant walk up the green lane. Nice location for the trig with a small lake at its foot. Very misty today, spoiling the view.

Good views of the trig were available as we approched from the opposite side of the valley.

Brecknockshire. It was a warm summers day and we sat in the sun on the top of the hill. Recently found the slide taken on the day but only a small part of the trig pillar is showing.
