Parked by the chapel in Glyncorrwg. Followed mapped right of way through forest to wind farm then straight to the pillar. Carried on to Moel-Yr-Hyrddod.

Park by the old community centre which is now a beautiful house and walked up towards the campsite and through the forestry. Loads of mountain bikers on our tracks and bagged 2 Trigs today.

how much of a mess can you make between 2 pillars on a clear day with big white posts with orange tops to guide you.

From Glyncorrwg on good forest tracks then a bit of squidge through wind farm to the trig. Pillar has lost its top cap and has no plug; RHS sight hole open; there's a small flake missing from top screed at one corner, otherwise vgc. Hill fog, no views, couldn't even see the wind turbines, could only hear them whomping round.

Parked near church at SS 87437 99359 (51.681105, -3.629804) and went up bridal path to TP4876 - Moel-Yr-Hyrddod (S2046) and then on to this trig. I have seen this peak from many others so I would anticipate a good view from here. Today was throwing it down with rain and visibility of only 50 metres or so made for an eerie experience as the wind turbines loomed out of the clouds.

vgc, no cap or plug, SW side of derelict wall, rushy pasture, wind farm. Forest developed for mountain biking, well used, many more tracks than mapped. Linked with Moel-Yr-Hyrddod, from Glyncorrwg, a valley I'd not been to before. Nice route, fell shoes, dry throughout.
