OS records this trig destroyed March 1991. Matthews Brewery founded 1750, closed 1961, partially demolished 1985 with the remainder converted to residential use 1988. There are 2 extant towers, the one where the bolt was located is to the rear of the building - in the foreground of my photo. Cut benchmark located on the south face.
