Took this trig in as part of a run. Parked at Glazeley Church and ran the footpath diagonally across the field, over the brook and pretty well straight into Chelmarsh. Ran along the main road for a short while then took the footpath which runs through the farmyard and right past the trig point. Lovely view of the Clees. Ran past the trig, turn left on the footpath which runs parallel to the road. The path come out on the road. Run over the bridge and back up the hill to the church. Very nice trigpoint run.

Parked just outside Chelmarsh church. Walked down the main road and then turned left up the rough track of the bridle way. Over the stile and along to the trig without touching any electric fence or encountering cattle. The friendly gnome is still protecting the top of the trig keeping it in excellent condition. This trig is worth a visit for the gnome's sake! Views poor today but the wintry landscape provided a good photo opportunity.

In the centre of a pasture field with a herd of very docile fresians. However, a warning to future triggers - I parked by the church at Chelmarsh and used the path opposite; this necessitated climbing no fewer than five electric fences and one small field had a [fortunately equally-docile] bull in it. Better to use the bridleway from the village and then cut W on the other path - only one electric fence that way! The pillar is all intact with the original plug - deeply indented letters. No paint visible. W sighthole open, the others closed. Concrete base exposed about 3" all round. Lovely views W to Clee Hills and E towards Wolverhampton. Top surface appears to have been recently reskimmed.
