A quick detour from the road while on a bike ride. This trigpoint is tucked away on a vegetated footpath. Not much of a view in the thick vegetation.

Another pillar close to a busy country lane. On the OS map, it is shown near to a communications mast. Those which were clearly visible from a distance were a bit of a distraction and took me away from where I wanted to be. Location is about 100 metres east of a small road junction, almost opposite the entrance to a gated property with a notice saying duck eggs for sale, which is on the north side of the road. Pulled bike in here and crossed the road to where I had seen a footpath running south and uphill. The pillar is just on the right up a small mound west of the path. Although it is right in the hedge row, it is sufficiently clear of vegetation to be visible from the path. Raised prefix S. Below the highest point of ground in the vicinity. Spoke to a couple of walkers who often use the path but had never noticed the pillar before. Quick chat about bonkers hobby. Possibly sparked a bit of interest, even just a little appreciation for the pillars all over the landscape.
