Walked from Swarland via the forest. Path was blocked by a fallen tree but passable with some off piste work. ROW went through large caravan site, from the site exit you can see the trig. Unfortunately trig is not on a ROW, no locked gates or private signs etc. Quick walk across field edge and up to trig. No one around.

Access was through gates W & N of the reservoir. Met two deer and a startled hare.My 300th pillar.

My second visit, same route as previously from the mast to the SW. Another good sunset tonight and thought I'd timed it right to capture this one in 'twilights last gleaming', however I'd reckoned without the small plantation to the NW of the TP that blocked the view of the setting sun. Not that this is one of Northumberland's more spectacular TPs at the best of times, but the views this evening were disappointingly hazy.
