I don't have any evidence it's been moved within the bounds of my GPS accuracy so 'good' it is as far as I'm concerned. As mentioned by others, it is leaning somewhat and sitting amongst a heap of concrete rubble. Apart from walking up to the farmer's front door the best way to access this one is from North Lane (track) then take the PROW at SK 33737 46602 that heads SW up the hill to a covered reservoir. Where this PROW then turns sharp right (SK 33673 463366) simply continue ahead (due S) towards Firestone Hill. Very soon you will join a track and pass a couple of transmitter masts before reaching a metal gate complete with NO FOOTPATH sign. Ignore the sign, jump the gate and the trig pillar is then 20m or so ahead of you in hedge to your left.

1/8. Parked on Farnah Green Rd and used the PROW heading East upto Firestone Hill. Once in the wooded area a good path heads South across the ridge line. Found the trig on the other side of the "No footpath" signaged gate. Initially took some spotting as the foliage well established. I can only echo the comments of pervious logs, trig certainly on first appearance gives the impression its been moved. Despite it's unfortunate lean it still retains all metal work and just about stands relatively unscarred.

The pillar is leaning to the east and has a pile of rocks up against it. It’s complete and apart from the lean, undamaged but it’s a bit precarious, especially if more rocks are added to the pile. Out walking with my walking group - The Irregulars, LDWA - and our route passed along North Lane. So it was an easy detour for me to hop over the gate and leg it up to the masts. Pillar is quite forlorn and unkempt with a covering of moss and as others have said has a tilt to starboard or perhaps port. However, it is still there. Retraced my steps and then legged it to catch up with my disappeared group.
