Parked at the mountain bike parking place and walked back along the road. Followed the jackrustles trail up the path through the whins, over the barbed wire fence, turned right along the field boundary and then left up the dry stane dyke to the trig. Nettles were vicious!

Followed Mick and Kim's route, parked at end of track to West Cheyne Farm, took a track in the direction of the trig with ended at a barbed wire fence but it had covering on a section. Climbed this and walked in ditch at edge of field (uneven in places) in a dog leg to wall and fence. Trig is on wall side but flush bracket is fence side. I was on the fence side, close enough to touch it which was good enough for me!

Very easy to find which was just as well as later I ran out of time trying to find Hill of Trusta pillar. I don't use GPS so it can be fun, particularly in plantations. Not sure if golf course is still in existence. Pillar now has acquired a barbed wire fence on opposite side from dry stane dyke

Took a bit of finding from the nearby geocache it seemed to be hiding "just over the hill"
