I think all people who have encountered walls have approached this trig in a similar direction. There is a route from Over Hill Road, Chinley on a PRoW onto open access land. Before the second stile a wide path/incline heads W to the top of the quarries continue with wall on your right to a metal gate. This gives you access to the field where the trig is located. Retrace your steps to continue to Lantern Pike or wherever. 1/3 visited today with Johnny (JRT). I gift to the colour green, how lush and bright the countryside appears.

By hopping over a couple of walls and climbing a bit higher I was soon at the pillar and nearby cache. Pillar is in good condition but has a plastic plug. Some extensive, lovely all round views from this vantage point.

1/2 Done on a walk from Chinley to Edale on a glorious day. Appproached from Chinley via the electric fence(off) to see a cow and her calf right by the trig. Fortunately no bull around, superb all round views. As we left , another cow was using the trig as a scratching post, obviouly a popular spot for the beasts.

Came up here while doing the nearby cache. Access had proved tricky because of the direction we approached from but the return to Chinley was straightforward and there were no walls or gates to climb.

As other reports, had to hop a couple of walls to get to this one, but managed to get back to the road only by going through gates. Fairly steep walk up to the TP but great views over Chinley and past Manchester. Cold, wet, and windy day but worth it.
