Walked from Chichester retail park on footpath behind the Goodwood racing circuit. At the road, turn right, after a few yards the pillar is in the hedge row right beside the road. Busy so time it right to get photographs.

Pillar in very good condition though location next to a busy road is not great. There is a small group of houses to the west so parked there and walked along the road to pillar.

Walked from Chichester railway station, through Summersdale, FP over the ford and right onto the A285, not very busy. The pillar is safe on the North verge beside an oak tree. No views

Went past where they are setting up a "Need for Speed" festival. I dont think my 14mph would impress them. Trig is roadside and had orange moss on it.

I was passing here a few weeks back and I thought I spotted a trig pillar out of the corner of my eye. But I wasn't sure, as I was driving. Today, I returned and found it for certain.

Driving south so decided to divert passed this one. Unexciting apart from trying to get a photo on self timer between the plentiful traffic! Me 35m

Not a very exciting place in itself but... The excitement here was trying to judge the self timer 10s to not include a passing car!

Spotted on the map whilst visiting a nearby Geocache, which was just as well as we hadn't noticed it as we'd driven by looking for somewhere to park. Took a walk along the road and there it was in full view!

Fairly un exciting after doing Linch Ball before this, but thats what we find so diverse about all of this Trig hunting. As Described trig is on the road side, easy to bag, be careful of the busy road!.

easy roadside but looked to be in the area closed during racing events at the circuit so watch out for that on a weekend visit

Pillar complete with top plate and fittings. Traffic heavy, watch out for that coming over a brow in the road on the western approach.

Located by the side of a road close to Goodwood Airport/Racing Ciruit. The pillar is in good condition and is easily accessible. However, the traffic moves quite fast so be careful.
